BSD DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL BANJARA hills is a branch of DAV organization, directly managed by DAV COLLEGE managing Committee, New Delhi. Dayanand Anglo Vedic Institution is renowned and the largest NGO rendering yeoman service and uplifting the principles of Swami Vivekananda.
Primarily, the school commenced its functioning in temporary premises at Begumpet, Hyderabad in 1983 under the able supervision of Shri. C Ramakrishna, who was then the Regional Director of DAV Institutions, South Zone. Thereafter, almost after a decade i.e., in 1994 the school proliferated its service and shifted to the present premises, BANJARA Hills. The school was functioning under the canopy of DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, SAFILGUDA for about three and a half decades. As of now the BSD DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL has become an independent with effect from 01/04/2023 which is a proud moment to cherish.
The school building is rented by Samaritans of Badam Sarojini Devi Trust and comprises of classes LKG to VII. The ambience provided at the school creates a conducive atmosphere for the students to flourish in all aspects and become future leaders. The classrooms are spacious, aptly ventilated and adequately lit. To encourage and groom intellectual and physical growth of the students, separate rooms have been provided for various activities like library, laboratories, art and craft, indoor games, language room, activity room etc.
To cater the health of the students, sick room is equipped with first aid kit to combat any emergency health related issues. Water is an elixir of life. Bearing this in mind water dispensers are placed in common areas providing purified safe drinking water. We prioritize safety and security of each child. In this regard the school is installed with CCTV CAMERAS covering the entire school premises including the classrooms. In addition, sufficient number of fire extinguishers are available at various places at the school.
The school follows the CBSE curriculum. English is the primary medium of instruction and also imparts Hindi, Sanskrit, and Telugu languages. The school encourages an effective Parent Teacher Communication which gives the teachers an insight into the child's strengths, interests, needs and areas of concern. The faculty is committed not only to academic development of the children but is also focused on inspiring children to imbibe values which will nurture into good human beings capable of making a positive difference to the world.
